Kajsa Ollongren is a politician who served in the Netherlands as Minister of Defence (2022–24) and Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (2017–22) in two consecutive Rutte cabinets, also holding the role of Deputy Prime Minister (2017–22). Previously, she was an alderwoman and deputy Mayor of Amsterdam. Having entered the Dutch civil service in 1991, she served as the deputy secretary-general (2007-11) and secretary-general (2011-14) within the Prime Minister’s office. Ollongren, who is a dual Dutch and Swedish national, studied history at the University of Amsterdam and Public Administration at the École Nationale d'Administration in Paris.

Patricia was born in a rural village in Ghana with no basic infrastructure. She was raised by her grandmother and had a challenging early life. After secondary school, she sold firewood until she discovered aviation. She started as an unpaid worker at an airstrip, later earning an apprenticeship in Aviation and Technology. Through determination, she became Ghana’s first civilian female pilot and achieved multiple aviation milestones. She became the UK’s first Black female aircraft inspector for two major aviation bodies. Patricia has led multiple youth and women’s aviation projects. She founded Fafali Aircraft Ltd and a STEAM-focused nonprofit. She has received numerous awards, including an OBE. Her inspiring story is featured in books, with her autobiography set for release in 2025.

Yuriko Nadia Backes, née en 1970 à Kobe, au Japon, de parents luxembourgeois, a étudié à Londres avant de débuter une carrière diplomatique en 1994. Elle a occupé divers postes, notamment auprès des Nations unies, de l'Union européenne et au Japon. En 2020, elle devient la première femme maréchale de la Cour du grand-duc Henri. En 2021, elle est nommée ministre des Finances du Luxembourg, où elle gère la crise inflationniste liée à la guerre en Ukraine. Elle promeut aussi les relations économiques avec l'Asie et soutient des réformes économiques et numériques au Luxembourg.

Dr. Victoria Coleman is CEO of Acubed, Airbus’ Silicon Valley-based research and innovation center. She also serves as Airbus’ Head of Research & Technology for North America. Dr. Coleman has 35 years of experience and expertise across multiple domains, from cybersecurity and computer science to emerging platforms and software engineering. Prior to Acubed, she served as the Chief Scientist of the United States Air Force. Prior to that, she served as the 22nd Director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). She has a strong connection with academia through her service as a Visiting Professor in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley. Beyond her government service, her career includes executive and leadership roles at pioneering organizations such as Atlas AI P.B.C, SRI International, Samsung, Hewlett-Packard, Nokia, Yahoo, and the Wikimedia Foundation.

Wahid Nawabi has served as our Chief Executive Officer and chairman of our board of directors since 2016. Wahid joined AeroVironment in 2011 as senior vice president and general manager of the Efficient Energy Systems (EES) business segment, where he reshaped the segment’s business strategy, launched several award-winning, innovative new products, and significantly improved its position in the market. Prior to his current role, Wahid served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the company, where he managed all aspects of AeroVironment’s two business segments. Wahid spent 16 years of his career at American Power Conversion Corporation (APC) in multiple leadership roles helping the company achieve its business strategy.

Antoine began his career at Safran, working in engineering and marketing before becoming Product Marketing Director for LEAP engines in 2008. In 2010, he joined Bombardier, leading marketing efforts for the C Series (now A220) and supporting major sales campaigns worldwide. He later joined Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, developing consulting services for aviation stakeholders. In 2023, he launched AvBench, an independent Business Intelligence firm analyzing aircraft performance in airline fleets. A dual French-Canadian citizen, Antoine lives in Montreal with his wife and two sons.

Jasper Krauser is the Central Coordinator of Quantum Technologies in Airbus. As part of Airbus central R&T organization, his team is exploring quantum technologies for aerospace applications in the fields of quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum sensing. Jasper joined Airbus in 2015, where he was leading a team to explore the next generation of optical instruments in Space before his current assignment. Jasper was a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Optical Quantum Technologies in Hamburg, after he acquired his PhD in quantum physics from the University of Hamburg.

Lionel M. Lavenue is a partner in Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP’s Reston, Virginia office, and leads the firm’s Aerospace, Aviation, and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) industry group. With experience in more than 180 district court litigations, Lionel's practice focuses on IP matters including patent trial litigation and patent portfolio management for a variety of technologies (including appeals), especially those related to aviation, UAS, UAV, and drone technologies. Lionel has experience in the preparation of over 1,000 patent applications and filing more than 75 IPR petitions and covered business method (CBM) petitions. He frequently speaks and writes on aviation and UAS topics.

Aurélie Girou débute sa carrière en 2005 en tant qu’acheteur forgés et matière chez Messier-Dowty. Elle occupe ensuite des fonctions commerciales avant de prendre la Direction des Programmes de trains d’atterrissages des avions d’affaires, militaires et hélicoptères chez Safran Landing Systems. Elle prend ensuite la Direction des Achats de la division Roues et Freins de Safran puis la Direction des Programmes de trains d’atterrissage de la famille Airbus Single Aisle. Elle est aujourd’hui en charge de l’innovation ouverte pour le Groupe au sein de Safran Corporate Ventures. A ce titre, Aurélie Girou a monté Safran Explore, et lancé Explore H2 un programme d’accompagnement de start-ups dans le domaine de l’hydrogène.

Lorenzo holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, where his research focused on Artificial Intelligence to enhance the mission autonomy of small satellites. His career includes over 8 years of experience developing flight software and AI applications for small satellites. He has also contributed as a visiting researcher at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), working on small satellite mission design and telecommunication architecture modeling. Prior to founding AIKO, Lorenzo gained professional experience at SES in Luxembourg, a global leader in space telecommunications. Under Lorenzo’s leadership, AIKO has grown to over 50 employees and continues to innovate in the field of autonomous space systems.

Dr. Alan Baratz became the CEO of D-Wave in 2020. Previously, as Executive Vice President of R&D and Chief Product Officer, he drove the development, delivery, and support of all of D-Wave’s products, technologies, and applications. He has over 25 years of experience in product development and bringing new products to market at leading technology companies and software startups. As the first president of JavaSoft at Sun Microsystems, Alan oversaw the growth and adoption of the Java platform from its infancy to a robust platform supporting mission-critical applications in nearly 80 percent of Fortune 1000 companies. He has also held executive positions at Symphony, Avaya, Cisco, and IBM. He served as CEO and president of Versata, Zaplet, and NeoPath Networks, and as a managing director at Warburg Pincus LLC. Alan holds a doctorate in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Kevin Noertker, co-founder and CEO of Ampaire, is advancing sustainable aviation by integrating hybrid-electric technology into aircraft, old and new. With a background in aerospace engineering at Caltech, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Northrop Grumman, Noertker emphasizes practical, stepwise innovation. Under his leadership, Ampaire has logged hundreds of hours and tens of thousands of hybrid-electric flight miles, and aims to revolutionize regional air travel by reducing emissions, improving economics, and expanding access to underserved communities. His vision combines technical innovation with environmental responsibility, creating scalable solutions that balance today’s realities - hybrid electric upgrades - with future aspirations for fully electric aviation.

Dr Schwer is an accomplished executive with extensive international experience across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. He has held senior roles in the global defence industry, including 14 years at Airbus Group and five at Rheinmetall AG. Most recently, as President of EOS EMEA, he oversaw the company’s expansion in NATO and Middle Eastern markets, strengthening its global presence. Among his qualifications, he holds a PhD in the field of system modelling and numerical optimisation.

Drake brings with him 16 years of experience in defence systems technology and a deep understanding of the defence procurement market. In his previous role at Babcock International as Chief Executive of Mission Systems and Group Chief Technology Officer, Drake was responsible for driving innovation and technology across the Group, managing more than 1,500 staff and reporting directly to the Group CEO. He delivered significant business growth and profitability for Babcock’s Defence Systems Technology business. Drake previously held the roles of Programme Director, Business Development Director, and Engineering Director in the same business where he led engineering activities for nearly 10 years. Prior to this, Drake was the Head of Landing Gear Extension and Retraction Systems within Airbus.

Mark Bitterman is the Vice President of Government Affairs at Portal Space Systems. He previously served as Vice President of Government Relations at Stratolaunch LLC and has held senior roles at several space industry leaders, including United Launch Alliance (ULA), SpaceX, and Orbital Sciences Corporation. Bitterman’s career also includes a tenure at Booz Allen Hamilton, specializing in national security policy at the National Reconnaissance Office. His government experience includes serving as Special Assistant for Intelligence and Special Operations at the Pentagon and as a Military Legislative Assistant to a U.S. Congressman. Bitterman holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, a bachelor’s in international politics from Rutgers University, and a Certificate in National Security from Harvard University.

J. Derek McCorquindale is a partner at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, an international law firm specializing in intellectual property. Derek’s practice focuses on patent litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. His experience spans a range of technologies relevant to the aviation and automotive industries, including computer networking tracking systems, image processing, wireless communications, and others. Mikhail Kokorich is a physicist, inventor, and serial aerospace entrepreneur. He is best known as the founder and CEO of Destinus, a European company developing unmanned vehicles and advanced drones. A native of Siberia, he has been the founder of several space technology companies, including Momentus, Astro Digital, and Dauria Aerospace. His move from the United States to Europe was to found Destinus. The company has been instrumental in supplying drones to Ukraine and deploying advanced, high-speed aviation technologies. Kokorich renounced his Russian citizenship in protest of the Kremlin's war crimes and policies.

Dr. Subodh Kulkarni is President and CEO of Rigetti. Dr. Kulkarni is a seasoned public company CEO with thirty-plus years of experience in the semiconductor industry and a track record of success in scaling and commercializing cutting-edge technologies. Prior to joining Rigetti, Dr. Kulkarni was President, CEO, and member of the Board of CyberOptics Corporation. He received his B.S. in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and later obtained a M.S. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from MIT. Dr. Kulkarni currently serves on the Board of KeyTronic Corporation as well as Chairman of the Board for Prism Computational Sciences.

aras Elie Wankewycz has been working on the global commercialisation of hydrogen solutions for the past 22 years. The first company he co-founded (2003) has become one of the largest producers of PEM fuel cells and AEM electrolyzers in the world - with 2GW manufacturing capacity in Asia-Pacific. Having later pioneered the world’s first hydrogen electric unmanned aircraft flight (2006), and many others since then, Taras launched H3 Dynamics in 2015, with teams in Toulouse and Austin to focus on Aerospace and Defense, mainly by applying hydrogen to extend electric flight durations by several orders of magnitude - while also enabling hydrogen supply for end-users in remote areas or at airports.

Mukund Karanjikar, PhD, is the founder and CEO of CleanJoule, a company focused on developing full performance SAF. Prior to CleanJoule, he served as the President of Technology Holding, a company that focuses on early stage technological ventures, as well as worked at Chevron Corporation and Rallis India Ltd. He also served as a visiting fellow in the energy innovations ecosystem at Harvard University, and as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Utah.

Olivier DAGÈS is an Industrial Property Attorney (IPA) and representative before the European Patent Office and the Unified Patent Court. He is a graduate of INSA Lyon and the Center of Internation Studies of Intellectual Property. He was Managing Director of the IP NONY firm until February 2023, when NONY joined IPSILON. He is now a partner and member of the Executive Committee of IPSILON. Olivier has worked and advises on the international protection of innovations in many fields of aeronautics, in particular for AIRBUS, and energy, particularly nuclear (CEA, spin-off start-ups).

Elvie Lahournere serves as a Partner for Aerospace, Defense, and Space in the Middle East at Kearney. In this capacity, she leads efforts in localization and industrialization across the MEA region, supporting industry development to achieve and sustain a competitive edge. With 18 years of experience spanning Asia and Europe, Elvie has honed her expertise in operational and strategic development across various industries. She has held senior positions with several technology and strategy firms in China, including Alten. Most recently, at Natixis, she was responsible for promoting and facilitating the Digital and Innovation Strategy across the APAC platform and globally for the bank. Elvie holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive MBA from INSEAD Tsinghua. She has also cultivated a deep understanding and extensive network within the technology landscape in China and, more recently, in the UAE, where she serves as a board member of French Tech UAE.

Patrice Cros began his career at the Conseil des Ministres de l’Union européenne (section “Transport aérien”) and researched for a survey initiated by SNECMA (formerly SAFRAN) on aircraft noise reduction. As Conference Director at daily economic and financial daily Les Echos (Financial Times Group), he operated various marketplace conferences on media, telecoms and defense and a landmark one on Euro currency with President and Prime Minister of the French Republic. He then served as a Partner at Benchmark Group before taking on the role in 2022 of Group Managing Director at Air & Cosmos Groupe. For now over 22 years, Patrice Cros has been a Board Member of Premier Cercle, a Brussels-based think tank focused on aerospace, defense and IP issues.

Jan Grøndrup is a senior advisor and non-executive board member with over two decades of leadership in the satellite communications and dual-use defense sectors. He has held senior roles at Kratos Space, Eutelsat, and Emerald Advisors, and is known for bridging strategic vision with commercial execution. Jan works closely with investors, startups, and industrial players to align capital with innovation in sovereign technology, secure communications, and dual-use platforms. At the intersection of space, defense, and finance, he facilitates cross-sector collaboration and ecosystem-building, helping institutions navigate geopolitical shifts and accelerate the transition from legacy systems to agile, resilient industrial capabilities.

Charles Beigbeder, né le 20 avril 1964 à Neuilly-sur-Seine, est un entrepreneur, investisseur et homme politique français. François joined the Nony firm in 1995, where he became President until the merger with the IPSILON firm in 2023. He is now Deputy Director of the “Patents” department France. He specializes in mechanics, physics, and electronics. He also handles opposition procedures and patent infringement lawsuits. In recent years, François has been developing the firm’s activities in the field of quantum physics, where he supervises the activities of patent engineers in this domain. François regularly participates in professional and university training, notably at the Panthéon Assas University of Law, where he teaches American patent law.

Michal Nowak is the Global Head of Airline Marketing at Embraer Commercial Aviation. Since joining Embraer in 2018, he has supported successful E2 aircraft placements with KLM, Luxair, Royal Jordanian, LOT, and SalamAir. Previously, he served as Executive Director of Strategy and Innovation at LOT Polish Airlines and represented the airline on the Star Alliance Management Board. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group. Michal holds a master’s degree in law and administration from Warsaw University and the University of Catania, and brings broad experience across the aviation value chain.

Alessandro Aquilano is Strategic Finance & Investor Relations at AIKO, a Turin-based deep-tech company developing AI and automation software for space. He holds a Master’s in Management Engineering and a Certificate in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School Online. At AIKO, he leads budgeting, forecasting, controlling, and manages investor relations. Alessandro has been instrumental in the company’s financial growth, supporting its path from seed funding to a Series A round in 2024, aimed at expanding operations across Europe and entering the U.S. market.

3 years after joining IESEG Business School, Stanislas Maximin decided to entirely dedicate himself to Latitude (ex-Venture Orbital Systems), the startup of which he is one of the co-founders and Executive Chairman. He managed to combine his passion for aerospace with strategy and management skills. Today he manages a team of more than 150 people and succeeds in driving the company’s strategy, finance and vision. Having a strong sense of relationship, he set up numerous partnerships with the French Space Agency, the European Space Agency, ArianeGroup and others. These collaborations led him to found and become president of the Newspace Alliance, which federates the entire French Newspace industry.

Jean-Philippe Grosmaitre is a Senior Partner of L.E.K. Consulting, bringing 30 years of M&A and transformation experience and leading L.E.K’s Organisation & Performance practice in Europe. Combining Strategy and Operations experts, he assists A&D clients with Commercial and Operational due diligence, Performance Improvement plans, Transformation and Post-Merger Integration programs. He has previously worked at Deloitte as lead Partner for the M&A Transformation & Turnaround team, at Alvarez & Marsal as Director in Turnaround, at Chargeurs (listed on Euronext) as M&A and Transformation director, at CPI Books as France general manager. He holds an MSc from Centrale Supelec, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Manufacturing & Aerospace EMEA Lead chez Palantir. Ingénieur data & Machine Learning formé à Télécom ParisTech et à la National University of Singapore est spécialisé dans les problématiques autour de l’application opérationnelle de la donnée et de l’IA à des enjeux métiers. Il a travaillé dans plusieurs start-ups avant de rejoindre Palantir Technologies comme Deployment Strategist, pour déployer des modèles d’IA à différents clients dans les domaines bancaires, industriels et de service. Il dirige depuis plusieurs années ans le projet Skywise pour Airbus, qui propose un écosystème de travail entre Airbus, diverses compagnies aériennes et d’autres acteurs de l’aviation. Il est également en charge de l’ensemble des projets industriels en Europe pour Palantir et de la stratégie.

Grégory Laville de la Plaigne is a partner in Clyde & Co’s aviation and litigation practice in Paris. He represents airlines, their insurers, and aviation industry stakeholders in product liability disputes and regulatory and consumer protection matters. Grégory regularly speaks at conferences on issues such as climate change and greenwashing. His published works include "The Montreal Convention: A Commentary" and guides on aviation law. Gregory holds a Masters in Public Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and is admitted to the Paris Bar. Grégory’s expertise is recognised by Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, Best Lawyers in France and Lexology.

Prior to being appointed President – Civil Aerospace, Rob was President - Rolls-Royce Electrical and played a fundamental role in building the Rolls-Royce Electrical business since October 2017. Prior to this role, Rob held a number of different roles across the Group, joining as Regional Director, Middle East, before taking on a number of customer business and programme management leadership roles. He was also Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive. Rob worked in the oil and gas industry before joining Rolls-Royce. He started his career as a diplomat with the British Foreign Office.

Brig. Gen. pilot Krzysztof STOBIECKI, born October 13, 1973. He began his aviation adventure in 1992 by entering the Aviation High School in Dęblin, after that he became a cadet at the Air Force Academy in Dęblin. He began his professional service in the 9th Fighter Aviation Regiment in Zegrze Pomorskie, and then after 4 years continued it in the 41st Fighter Aviation Squadron in Malbork. Graduate of the National Defense University, in field of Management of Aviation Organisations. He completed Defense Policy Studies at the War Studies Univercity in Warsaw. He participated many times in NATO exercises in Poland and abroad. Since 2011, he has held the position of Commander of the Air Action Group in the 22nd BLT and since 2012 he was deputy commander - Polish Military Contingent ORLIK. In 2014, he commanded PMC ORLIK as part of the AIR POLICING mission in the airspace of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Since many years Commander of the 23rd Tactical Air Base Mińsk Mazowiecki where he implemented FA-50 fighters to the Polish Air Force. Still an active pilot MiG-29 and FA-50. Currently, he serves as the Ministerial Advisor - Plenipotentiary of the Minister of National Defence for Aviation.

Didier Patry est Directeur Général de France Brevets, société crée par l’Etat Français et la Caisse des dépôts. Avant de prendre cette fonction, il était Directeur des Affaires Juridiques d’Eaton Aerospace et également responsable des affaires propriété intellectuelle du groupe Eaton en Europe. Didier a démarré sa carrière au Ministère de la Défense à Paris puis il a rejoint le Groupe Swatch en Suisse, dont il a dirigé les activités brevets. Il a ensuite exercé au sein du cabinet d’avocats Baker Botts à Houston et à Londres. Il a ensuite intégré le groupe HP où il a été en charge du département transactions stratégiques, au Royaume-Uni au sein de HP Labs Europe, et ensuite aux Etats-Unis au siège du groupe HP, à Palo Alto.

Pierre is a Technical Director at IBM, in charge of strategic partnerships for IBM Quantum, mainly in Europe. Pierre has more than 18 years of experience and began his career at the CEA in scientific computing and parallel codes, then at CSSI on the CEA's scientific platforms. He then joined IBM Technology Services in 2006 to take on a role as IT Specialist for SNECMA, then IT Architect. His career then led him to IBM Systems, where he held the position of technical leader for Crédit Agricole. He then took over the management of the technical architects of IBM Systems France, before taking up the position of Technical Director of the IBM Systems France entity. Since June 2021, Pierre has been actively working on the development of IBM Quantum's strategic partnerships, particularly in the areas of government, finance and chemicals. Pierre graduated from Polytech Sorbonne in 2005, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Joachim Pohlmann has been serving as the chief of cabinet (kabinetschef) to Belgian Minister of Defence and Foreign Trade, Theo Francken, since February 2025 . Prior to this role, Pohlmann held significant positions within the New Flemish Alliance (N-VA), including serving as the party's spokesperson and as a close advisor to N-VA leader Bart De Wever, the current Belgian Prime Minister. In 2019, he transitioned to become the chief of cabinet for Culture under Flemish Minister-President Jan Jambon. Pohlmann is also a reserve lieutenant colonel in the Belgian army, a background that complements his current responsibilities in the Defence Ministry.

At Airbus she led the global corporate venture capital fund in innovation, industrial diversification and decarbonisation in 20 countries. Auditor of IHEDN and Colonelle of the Reserve Citizenship of the French Space and Air Force she contributes to the think tank of the Chief of French Air Force on hot topics such as financing of BITD and impact of AI on Air Force Human Resources. Graduated from HEC and CFA she started in Hong Kong and London in investment banking with Credit Agricole and GE Capital. She is a member of women in aerospace in defence and founder of the European chapter of International Association of Women in Aerospace.

En 2010, Parrot lance son premier drone de loisirs, l’AR.Drone. En 2018, bouleverse le marché du drone professionnel avec son drone emblématique ANAFI. En 2021, Parrot dévoile ANAFI Ai : son drone robot connecté en 4G. Parrot est aujourd’hui le premier groupe européen de drones.

Dr. Todd Citron is the senior vice president and chief technology officer of The Boeing Company, overseeing its global technology strategy and a 5,000-person organization, including Boeing Research & Technology, AvionX, and Aurora Flight Sciences. He also manages engineering for Boeing subsidiary Wisk and joint venture SkyGrid, focusing on advanced air mobility. Previously, Citron held various leadership roles in Boeing Defense, Space & Security, ensuring technical integrity and enhancing engineering quality. He has published numerous technical papers, holds three patents, and is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and AIAA. Citron earned degrees from Purdue and Stanford University.
